The ability to trade magic items, turn defeated enemies into vassals, bring back dead factions once you liberate them, or brokering peace among other factions currently at war would make things even more interesting. That is to say, the geographical area it includes is fixated primarily on the old world, and the playable races and factions from Warhammer 1 make up the majority of the content.

I understand that the game is called “Total War,” but diplomacy is important in any strategy game. The bulk of the playable content in Mortal Empires, is actually from Total War: WARHAMMER 1. That being said, there’s still a lot more room for additional depth, which would be welcome.
